Nursing Careers Pathway (NCP) is a statewide program led by The WorkPlace in collaboration with Capital Workforce Partners. NCP helps individuals advance in the nursing field and decreases barriers to career success by offering additional support such as mentoring, tuition assistance, transportation, and job placement assistance.
Individuals beginning their pathway as a licensed CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT or LPN will receive training in either Licensed Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing. Get started on the path to your new career, today!
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and home healthcare environments. Employers rely on LPNs to care for patients, administer medications, and coordinate clinical management with supervising RNs and doctors.
As an RN, you will provide and coordinate patient care. RNs work with patients, doctors, and other healthcare workers. They can administer medication to patients, record and update patient records, consult with patients, and more.
We offer support services including: mentoring, tuition assistance, transportation, uniforms, and job placement assistance.
Explore the available career paths for you and become an LPN or RN. Start an exciting career in healthcare.
